Bat–Galim, Sea-shore Promenade in Haifa
Commissioned by Haifa Municipality,
Proposed building plan for restoration, preservation and development. For unique sea-shore neighborhood in Haifa.
The plan proposes to resolve continued complications in urban development, in order to enable realization of valid building rights while preserving the qualities of unique old buildings and the shore promenade space. The plan enables new construction in the rears of the lots, behind the old structures, so original buildings will be conserved and maintained facing the promenade.
The plan examines alternative solutions for car access to the rear of the plots.
The plan presents a fresh approach to the design and branding of the promenade as an urban recreational site.
